Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons explore new horizons of menswear with a collection that explores sensorial lightness and compositional freedom.

Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons continue to redefine the codes of men's dress with the Prada men's Spring/Summer 2026 collection, presented during Milan Fashion Week. The runway set was interspersed with long-haired rugs in the shape of black and white flowers.&nbsp;Prada's show was not limited to proposing new creations, but staged a change of attitude.
The silhouettes in the Spring/Summer 2026 collection speak of sensations, impulses, and combinatorial freedom: from the exposed physicality of the inguinal shorts to the rigid essentiality of the slim fit suits and monochromatic tracksuits that embrace the body with sporty sobriety. Among the key looks, a select handful stand out most: leather jackets renounce the oversize vibe of previous seasons; knitwear sweaters with contrasting riveted details; and glossy patent jackets, which introduce an element of controlled chromatic dissonance. The entire collection oscillates between the real and the imaginary.
The elements of nature&ndash;earth, air, sun&ndash;are translated into living fabrics in this collection via clear colors that define colorblocks and light layering. The nonconformist harmony of Prada and Simons is revealed in the ability to combine technical materials with tailored cuts, and in the way in which each look becomes an open combination, never definitive.&nbsp;

The Prada men's Spring/Summer 2026 collection does not seek to impose a single or definitive message, but proposes a form of aesthetic freedom where imagination guides the construction of everyday life. It is an exercise in removing meaning to reduce the very power of the garments to restore lightness to the act of dressing. Without forcing dramatic gestures, the two co-creative directors build a coherent lexicon, capable of dialoguing with the present and suggesting new possibilities for menswear.
Adding to the atmosphere of the Prada show was the presence of numerous international guests from the world of cinema, music, and fashion. Actors such as Benedict Cumberbatch, Riz Ahmed, Harris Dickinson, Frank Dillane, Lee Dohyun, Tosin Cole, Archie Madekwe, Nicolas Maupas, and Win Metawin stood out in the front row, confirming the increasingly close bond between Prada and the contemporary cinematic scene. Representing the world of music were Kai (Exo), Mahmood, Stormzy, and Giovanni Caccamo.
