Giving a glimpse into her private life, Beyoncé reflects on the effects of social isolation on her family and career.

But, after long months of social isolation, the singer gave a <a href="https://www.vogue.co.uk/arts-and-lifestyle/article/beyonce-british-vogue-interview">rare interview</a> for the <a href="https://www.vogue.co.uk/tags/december-2020-issue">December issue of </a><a href="https://www.vogue.co.uk/tags/december-2020-issue">British Vogue</a>, talking about everything from work ventures, uplifting Black&nbsp;talent,&nbsp;and spending time&nbsp;with her children.

&ldquo;[I] have changed completely. It would be difficult to experience life in a pandemic and the current social unrest and not be changed,&rdquo; reveals the singer in an interview with <a href="https://www.thecut.com/2011/09/edward_enninful_is_an_editor_n.html">Edward Enninful</a>, Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue. &ldquo;I learned that my voice is clearer when I&#39;m standing still. I really enjoy this time with my family, and my new goal is to slow down and get rid of the stressful things in my life.&quot;

Beyonc&eacute; explains that since entering the music industry at just 15 years old, she has been woking non-stop. &ldquo;I spent a lot of time focusing on building my legacy and representing my culture in the best way I know how. Now, I decided to give myself permission to focus on my joy.&quot; In the past five years, the singer released&nbsp;Lemonade&nbsp;during her&nbsp;<a href="https://fashionista.com/2016/04/beyonce-formation-world-tour-wardrobe">Formation World Tour</a>,&nbsp;gave birth to twins, performed at <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/save-the-date/the-last-day-caochella-2019">Coachella</a>, directed&nbsp;Homecoming, went on another tour with husband&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/meek-mill-launched-his-own-music-label-with-jay-z">Jay-Z</a>, and then created&nbsp;Black is King&ndash;all back to back&ndash;she explained.&nbsp;

As for family, the singer spoke on guiding and cherishing her&nbsp;children during these turbulent times. &quot;My best advice is to love them more than ever,&quot; she explains.&nbsp;&ldquo;I made my children know that they are never too young to contribute to changing the world. I never underestimate their thoughts and feelings, and I examine them to understand how it is affecting them.&rdquo;
